The aspect of V.O.C which is volatile organic compounds has only become prevalent in recent times. The EU directives are stipulated and encouraging especially with enviro builds that materials should be non hazardous and free from V.O.C. You can see this even in paints where people with respiratory problems would trigger a reaction with a solvent content. Everybody has experienced the strong fumes from conventional sealants that contain V.O.Cs. To create a V.O.C free product is difficult but it is even more challenging to create a multipurpose V.O.C free sealant to replace the need for several different sealants. For example CT1 unique sealant and construction adhesive will far exceed and replace a silicone sealant, acrylics sealant, sanitary sealant, food approved sealant, buthyl rubber sealant in addition building mastics and construction adhesives all in one cartridge. CT1 V.O.C free sealant fulfils all these requirements because of its unique formulation. It is a hybrid polymer which is a completely different molecular structure than any other sealant on the market. Because of its unique formulation it can be applied onto wet surfaces even under water. As a result of CT1 being V.O.C free mould or bacteria will not breed on the sealant. CT1 V.O.C free can even be painted with any type of paint. It will not shrink or crack. CT1 V.O.C free sealant is completely weather resistant and has a temperature range from -40°celcius to 120°celsius. CT1 V.O.C free sealant is available in seven different colours, white, black, grey, beige, brown, and oak.
