How to stick stone was a question not frequently asked some years ago, but as trends change this question and a need for a product to stick stone is more prevalent. Stone is widely used not only in commercial premises but almost as standard in domestic properties. A kitchen is not complete without the mandatory marble kitchen counter tops. Trying to affix or install stone panels in horizontal postions is difficult enough but in vertical applications it is extremely challenging. You would often hear installers say it would be so much simpler if we could stick this stone counter in.

 

Well now they and everyone can as C- tec have developed the amazing POWER GRAB‘N’BOND the best adhesive on the market for sticking stone. POWER GRAB’N’BOND is based on our now famous CT1 Unique Sealant and Adhesive but with a super accelerated initial grab its ability to stick stone to stone or stone to other materials such as stone to stainless steel is truly amazing. Based on hybrid     polymer formulation with a unique catalyst and manufacturing process has resulted in the creation of an adhesive with no comparison. Conventional adhesives available to stick stone cannot compare to this incredible POWER GRAB N BOND technology e.g.They are two components most common being epoxy.

 

If these components are not mixed in the right proportions the adhesive will not work. When sticking stone the adhesive should have a level of retained flexibility which is lacking in the two components. In addition these types of adhesives to stick stone are traditionally very slow to cure in many cases UP to 48 hrs. A common problem when installing a stone/marble kitchen counter top is the opening that has been machine routed to facilitate the sink that sits onto the stainless steel brackets is marginally out. Trying to drill the marble is not easy job but now it can be bonded. Our ct1 unique sealant and construction adhesive will stick stone perfectly but when you need to stick stone vertically, especially heavy stone.
