How to Stick Plastic to Wood

We at C-Tec are frequently asked, Will CT1 The Snag List Eliminator Stick Plastic to Wood?
This question is asked so frequently because one of the most difficult tasks to undertake is to glue Plastic to Wood. Well the answer to the question, will CT1 do this? Is yes.
CT1 will stick most Plastics to Wood very successfully. Acrylics, pvc, polycarbonate, Bakelite, etc pose no challenge. The only one that won’t stick is polypropylene, but that’s no surprise as polypropylene is impossible to bond.
When sticking these two materials with conventional adhesives the bond is only short-term as the adhesive lacks flexibility, the bond with CT1 will be permanent as it remains constantly flexible.
In preparation to adhering these materials it is advantageous to key (roughen) them with a dense grade glass paper. In addition, clean it with C-Tec’s Multisolve.
Multisolve is a safe non-aggressive solvent, ideal in the removal of oxidation in plastic and other materials.
