As wet rooms and walk- in showers are becoming more and more in demand the products and systems available to facilitate this demand are sparse.

The primary objective is to ensure a 100% barrier against water ingress, in essence to create a tank. Hence the expression tanking out a wet room.

The products available to create tanking a wet room/walk-in shower, although achieve a satisfactory outcome have some negative aspects:-

I)             Complicated to use

ii)            Time consuming

iii)           Expensive

C-Tec has developed a product for the ultimate in tanking a wet room solution.  Tank ‘n’ Tile allows you to tank out the area and in the same action tile. This unique formulation will adhere to Brick, Stone, Plaster, Marine-Board, almost any substance. Once cured Tank ‘n’ Tile will remain flexible which is most important in relation to under floor heating. 

When tiling is complete grouting can take place within two hours and a flexible grout is recommended. Any overspills of Tank ‘n’ Tile can be quickly and efficiently removed with C-Tec’s Multisolve. 

Multisolve is a unique safe solvent developed to remove cured silicone, adhesive, tar and adhesive residue, to mention only a few difficult to remove substances. Multisolve is non-aggressive and will not stain.
