C-Tec were the first to introduce into the market an Underwater Sealant, being CT1 The Snag List Eliminator. After a period of time competitors tried to follow our lead introducing an Underwater Sealant mimicking our demonstrations and marketing. The majority of these Underwater Sealants are M.S. polymers, that being modified silicone, a big improvement on conventional silicone and acrylic sealants.

 

What’s unique about CT1 is that it is a hybrid polymer based, (in conjunction with our manufacturing partners) on our own customized development creating CT1 The Snag List Eliminator, the ultimate Underwater Sealant.

 

Superficially it is not that difficult to demonstrate a Sealant Underwater but the question is how long will the seal last when continually submerged underwater?. We know from various tests that CT1 as an Underwater Sealant will surpass any alternative in it’s longevity in continued exposure to water.

 

Not only is CT1 the ultimate Underwater Sealant but it’s also the ultimate Underwater Sealant and Structural Adhesive, eg, to ensure that a garden pond is totally sealed with good adhesion between concrete and rubber CT1 will act as the perfect solution for an Underwater Sealant and Construction Adhesive.
